Terms and Conditions
I. Project Initiation
To initiate a project, clients may be required to pay a deposit of half the estimated project cost. This is standard for new clients, while returning clients with a good payment history may not need to provide a deposit.
II. Project Timeliness
Clients must provide all necessary content and information within 14 days of project initiation. Failure to do so will result in a $25 per week penalty for delays. If delays persist, we may proceed with the project using the available content and bill accordingly.
III. Submission of Content
Content must be submitted digitally via email or FTP, and must be clearly labeled. Text should be selectable and not part of images. Content sent via fax or paper must be pre-approved and may incur additional fees.
IV. Ownership and Copyright
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to all content submitted. Upon completion and full payment, clients own the rights to their website design but cannot resell it to third parties. The “web design by” credit tag must remain intact.
V. Domain Name Ownership
Domain names are registered under IES’s name but are transferable upon full payment. Clients are responsible for renewal fees, and failure to pay may result in the sale of the domain name.
VI. Payment Policies
Payments are generally split into an initial deposit and a final payment due within 30 days of project completion. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly fee, and accounts unpaid after 45 days may be terminated and sent to collections.
VII. Revisions and Maintenance
Minor revisions are included at no extra charge, but significant changes after completion are billed at $150 per hour. Clients on maintenance plans receive discounted rates for updates.
VIII. Termination of Services
Clients may cancel services at any time, but must pay for work already completed. IES also reserves the right to terminate services at its discretion.
IX. Third-Party Vendors
IES is not responsible for issues arising from third-party vendors and services.
X. Amendments to Terms
IES reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting to our website.
